A referral from your GP or Specialist to one of our Fertility Specialists is required for your appointment.
A referral is essential and enables much of the cost of treatment to be covered by Medicare. Both you and your partner require a valid referral at all times during your treatment. A standard referral from your General Practitioner (GP) is valid for 12 months. We recommend asking for an indefinite referral so you're not inconvenienced if it runs out. A referral from a Specialist is only valid for 3 months.
